Bella Bonita Designs is authentic, inspiring people to unapologetically themselves. 

My name is Stella Hankins and I am the owner and founder of Bella Bonita. We create products with a purpose. Our accessories include scrunchies, scarves, twillies, giant scrunchies, and we plan to add more. I studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design as well as Parsons School of Design. Fashion and art go hand in hand for me and have saved my life.

My purpose has always been to create, it's what keeps me well me. I am proud to say that I am a recovering addict. I've been through hell and back, I knew in my bones I wanted to create a company that incorporated my love for fashion and recovery. Bella Bonita was created to provide opportunities to people needing a second chance, a safe place that encourages growth to be your most authentic self. I teach people how to sew our products as well as print the fabric we use from my illustrations. 

Yes I draw all the textiles, I am constantly drawing my Bonita faces, making new textiles, patterns, and products. I love that our products are vibrant and full of life, when you wear one of our pieces you become a Bonita. I have lived all over the world and being here in Wichita connecting with the recovery community has been the coolest thing that has ever happened. I want to give back the way I can, and inspire others to do the same.
